James’ shared the following thoughts on stepping into his new role:
” Over recent months, I’ve officially stepped into the role of Managing Director at Thermaglow, taking over from Paula as she moves into her new position as Chairman.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the opportunity to run and support multiple areas of the business, including our sales team, production team and quality department. That experience has given me a strong understanding and genuine appreciation of the things that matter most to Thermaglow, our customers, our suppliers and our people. Thermaglow has always been far more than just a business to me.
Since 1957, the company has built its reputation through quality, service, flexibility, on time delivery, technical expertise and a commitment to UK manufacturing. Those values have shaped the business for decades and continue to drive everything we do today.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with many of our customers, suppliers and partners, and one thing that has always stood out to me is the value placed on long-term relationships and doing things properly. That mindset remains hugely important as we move into this next chapter. While the foundations of Thermaglow remain the same, the business has continued to evolve significantly in recent years. There will no doubt be challenges ahead, but also significant opportunities. With a fantastic team, a clear strategic plan and a strong culture, I am fully committed to continuing to invest in Thermaglow’s future, pushing our manufacturing offering and capabilities forward, and further strengthening our position as the UK’s leading heating element design, manufacturing and distribution partner.
What makes me most proud, however, is that despite that growth, the business has stayed true to its core identity. We still approach our work with the same hands-on mentality, the same focus on quality and the same commitment to supporting our customers properly.
As Managing Director, my focus is simple: to continue building on those strong foundations while ensuring Thermaglow continues to evolve, invest and move forward for the future.
I’d also like to personally thank all of our customers, suppliers and staff for their continued support of Thermaglow over the years. The relationships we’ve built are a huge part of what makes this business special, and something we never take for granted.
I’m incredibly excited for the future of Thermaglow and look forward to continuing that journey with you.”
